My name is Wes Johnson and I created this little site I'm calling the "P1 Hunt Club". I am a card carrying P1.  I have 4 sons. They range from 7 to 18. I enjoy taking them with me to the lease, almost as much as they enjoy going down there. I think it is important to teach our children the correct way (legally, ethically, and morally) to hunt and harvest game. That is why our group is a family friendly place. There is no better satisfaction for me as a hunter than to see my children enjoy the wonderful aspects of hunting with me.


Hunting is a passion for me. I live and breath hunting. If I'm not out on our Coleman County lease hunting some of the many varieties of wildlife we have, then I'm thinking of what needs to be done down there to get ready for the next hunting season. There is always something that needs to be done on a Texas deer lease. Fences mended, feeders filled, stands painted, and even scouting for the next season.

The P1 hunt club is the combination and evolution of many different things. I am just another P1 that loves to hunt. Don't know what a P1 is. Then listen to "The Ticket" and find out. My favorite personality on The Ticket is Gordon Keith.
