P1's Hunting
These rules incorporate the landowners rules, plus ours all in one.
1. 25% deposit for returning hunters are due by March 1st to secure your spot for the next year (This is non refundable). The remainder of the money is due to lease manager by May 1st NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
2. Lease fee includes 1st installment of electricity payment. An additional $50 will be collected on Sept 1st. Each spot gets one breaker in breaker box, and all breakers must be turned off before leaving property.
3. All hunters must maintain at least one feeder per spot and be run all year long.
a. Feeder must be in good working condition and must be a minimum of 50% protein and 50% corn mix from March 1st to September 1st. All other times straight corn can be used. Protein can be soy beans, black eyed peas, or protein pellets.
b. Fences are not required around feeders, but are encouraged. All fences constructed must not tie into, be a part of, or otherwise link to any existing property fencing.
c. All feeders (and stands) must be a minimum of 100 yards from all perimeter fences.
d. Food plots are allowed on property, but at each hunter's expense. All fences must adhere to the fencing guidelines stated above
e. Failure to adhere to feeding program could be cause for dismissal from property and no refunds will be given for this offense.
4. All stand and feeder placement must be approved by lease manager prior to set up (including shooting lanes) to avoid shooting in direction of other hunters.
a. All hunters must only hunt their stand or area unless prior permission has been granted by stand owner.
b. If hunting other stands, please leave stand at least in as good of condition as you found it. Please shut and lock all windows or doors and take all trash with you when you leave.
c. No alcohol in stands at any time.
d. Locks are permitted on stands or feeders if wanted.
5. No drunk or disorderly conduct at any time. This is grounds for immediate dismissal, and no refunds of any monies will be given.
6. ATV and/or 4 wheelers are allowed on property. Please limit use of 4 wheelers to a minimum during deer season.
7. All work in the field should be completed as of the first weekend of September. Archery season starts at the end of the September, and this time will be used as a cooling off period.
8. Dove hunting should be limited to the first three weekends of dove season.
9. Quail hunting should be limited to after December 1st and should only be conducted after all deer hunters have returned from their stands unless prior arrangements have been made.
10. Landowner retains all quail hunting rights during month of Feb.
11. Guests are allowed (within reason), however please be respectful of other hunters, hunters stands, feeder locations and their property.
12. Deer harvests will be limited to 1 mature buck (3 1/2 years or older, 8 points or better, and antlers outside ears), 1 cull or management buck (mature spike, or palmated antlered buck), and 2 does. So KNOW BEFORE YOU SHOOT.
13. Hunters are required to sign in at front gate each time they visit the property.
